Entercom Announces Stars & Strings
• Entercom revealed the artist line-ups and dates for its Country music concert, Stars and Strings, a RADIO.COM event. The mini-tour will debut at Detroit’s Fox Theatre on Nov. 6, followed by Barclays Center in New York on December 4, and it returns to where it began — Chicago’s Allstate Arena on December 8.
> Wednesday, November 6: Stars and Strings Presented by RAM Trucks Built to Serve, hosted by 99.5 WYCD/Detroit at the Fox Theatre, featuring Keith Urban, Maren Morris, Lady Antebellum, Kelsea Ballerini, Jon Pardi, Brett Young and Ryan Hurd. Portions of the proceeds from the Detroit will benefit Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members.
> Wednesday, December 4: Stars and Strings, hosted by WNSH (New York’s Country 94.7) at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, starring Sam Hunt, Dustin Lynch, Chris Janson, Blanco Brown, Runaway June, Gone West and Matt Stell.
> Sunday, December 8: Stars and Strings, hosted by WUSN (US99)/Chicago at Allstate Arena, starring Kane Brown, Chris Janson, Scotty McCreery, Lindsay Ell and Seaforth.
“Stars and Strings has been consistently sold out in Chicago every year since its inception and sold out in under 30 minutes in its debut in Detroit,” said Michael Martin, Entercom SVP of Programming and Music Initiatives. “We look forward to expanding the show to additional cities to reflect the strength and mass appeal reach of Country music.”
