Laura Lee: Free Agent
• Laura Lee is now a talented pro on the loose as budget issues lead to her departure from her PD/afternoon drive position on Sunrise Broadcasting Alternative WRMR (Modern Rock 98.7)/Wilmington, NC.
Ms. Lee was named PD of WRMR in August 2017, following a stint with Adams Radio Group in Salisbury-Ocean City, MD as Promotions Director for the company’s four-station cluster and PD/midday personality for Classic Rock WGBG (Big 98.5).
Lee began her radio career in 2000 with Entercom Sacramento and later went on to program LM Communications’ Triple A WCOO (105.5 The Bridge)/Charleston, SC and do middays on Active Rock sister WYBB (98 Rock). She also served as Manager of Corporate Partnerships with the Charleston-based South Carolina Stingrays minor league hockey team before joining Adams Radio.
