Jesse James Booked From SLC To Nashville

• Stand by for the formal announcement, but the complex personnel shuffle inside the two Cumulus Country stations in Nashville appears to be wrapping up. RAMP has learned that Jesse James, current morning talent at Cumulus Country KUBL (93.3 The Bull)/Salt Lake City is packing for a move to Music City to assume command of the morning shift at sister WKDF (103.3 Country).

As we reported earlier this week, the syndicated Big D & Bubba just unplugged from that shift and crossed the hall to mornings on Classic Country cousin WSM-FM, as did WKDF afternoon personality Tyler Reese. James’ arrival (along with an updated hat, we presume) should complete the revamped lineup at WKDF, as PD Travis Daily has taken over Reese’s former afternoon drive.

Interestingly, Daily was the former PD of KUBL who originally hired James in February 2023 after James spent a decade as Brand Manager and morning host for Radio FM Media Hot AC KLTA (Big 98.7)/Fargo, ND. James earlier did mornings on KWOF (92.5 The Wolf)/Denver and KCYY (Y100)/San Antonio and was on-air at WMIL/Milwaukee. We hear the quote-filled release is enroute!
