• After a decade well spent as Promotions Director of Milwaukee Radio Alliance Alternative WLUM (FM 102/1), AC WLDB (B93.3) and Oldies WZTI-AM (FONZ FM), John Schroeder announced he would be stepping down on August 2 to embark on a new full-time opportunity outside of radio — he has accepted the position of Marketing Manager for Wisconsin Center District, the owner and operator of the Miller High Life Theatre, UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, and Wisconsin Center.
The good news is, Schroeder will remain a presence at FM 102/1 a weekend and fill-in personality and the host of the Sunday morning Classic Alternative specialty show, Retro Brunch. He can still be reached at schroeder@milwaukeeradio.com.
