Kamer Re-Ups With CBS Audio
• Veteran voiceover artist Steve Kamer has signed a new three-year deal with the CBS Audio Network, to continue as the iconic voice of CBS News On The Hour. Kamer is one of the preeminent voices in the news and entertainment business today and is probably most recognized as the 20+-year signature voice of CBS Television Distribution’s Inside Edition. His work has also been heard on numerous network, syndicated, cable, streaming outlets and movie trailers, as well as station imaging for both radio and television stations, including affiliates of the CBS Audio Network.
As the ink was drying on Kamer’s new deal, Craig Swagler, VP/GM of CBS Audio Network, said, “Steve Kamer has brought a new, modern sound to the legacy brand of CBS. He delivers, perfectly, to our target demo, while still honoring the heritage of the Tiffany Network.”
