KBCO Enters Hall Of Fame
KBCO staffers past and present (including original PD Dennis Constantine, left,who launched the station in June 1977 and programmed it for the next 16 years), gathered on stage to be recognized for their contributions. Recording artist Amos Lee read the proclamation aloud and presented the award to current KBCO PD Scott Arbough. Additional highlights from the night included a special video tribute from Nathaniel Rateliff as well as a touching video highlight reel of 97.3 KBCO’s accomplishments throughout its four-decade history.
In addition to Amos Lee, the induction ceremony included a number of musical appearances from Todd Park Mohr and Brian Nevin of Big Head Todd, Bill Nershi and members of The String Incident, Vince Herman and Drew Emitt from Leftover Salmon,The Lumineers, Jeff Hanna and members of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Isaac Slade and Ben Wysocki of The Fray, and Leo Kottke.
