KBKS/Seattle Rebrands As HITS 106.1
• iHeartMedia Top 40 KBKS (106.1 Kiss FM)/Seattle has officially rebranded as HITS 106.1, “The New Home of The Jubal Show and Commercial Free Weekends,” effective immediately.
As we recently reported, KBKS had hired market vet Jubal Fresh to anchor The Jubal Show, and in a show of solidarity, had temporarily rebranded as “Jubal 106.1.”
“From the moment we launched Jubal 106.1 the reception from the entire city and across the country has been massive,” said Jared Fallon, PD of HITS 106.1. “Today we are thrilled to unveil HITS 106.1, the new home of The Jubal Show!” The station says HITS 106.1 will be the only station in the Seattle market to air commercial-free music each weekend.
The full programming lineup for the new HITS 106.1 looks like this — The Jubal Show (6-11am); Raph (11am-2pm); Zann in the Afternoon (2-7pm); EJ at Nights (7pm-midnight).
