KS95 Secures Gabe & Angie For PM Drive
• After an intensive five-month house-to-house search, Hubbard Hot AC KSTP (KS95)/Minneapolis has procured a permanent afternoon drive show — Gabe Glidden and Angie Morales will assume command of the pm drive shift, effective Dec. 28.
That daypart had been hosted for years by Staci Matthews and Greg “Hutch” Hutchinson, who exited in June. Since then, market veteran Angi Taylor has been filling in, and will remain on the job through the end of the year.
Glidden and Morales were most recently hosts of the No. 1-rated Gabe & Angie Morning Show on Radio FM Media Top 40 KLTA (BIG 98.7)/Fargo-Moorhead, ND.
The announcement of their impending arrival in the Twin Cities was made by Hubbard VP of Brand and Content Chris Eagan, who said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Gabe & Angie to KS95. Their energy, humor and heart on the air and off will help take afternoon drive to the next level.”
Glidden is a native of Crystal, Minnesota and has spent his entire career in the upper Midwest, hosting morning and afternoon shows in Winona, MN, Cedar Falls-Waterloo, IA and Fargo. Morales and her former morning co-host John Moug met while working at KLUC/Las Vegas, and subsequently teamed up in mornings at Townsquare Hot AC KCIX (Mix 106)/Boise, ID and Lotus Hot AC KPLZ/Seattle until August 2023.
“I’ve been chasing this radio dream my entire career, and it’s hard to believe I’ve found my way back home to the Twin Cities,” Glidden remarked. “I couldn’t be more excited to join KS95 and have the opportunity to do what I love in the community where I grew up.”
