Making Trauma Bear-able

Teddy BearsMidwest Communications Top 40 WNFN (i106.7)/Nashville recently launched its inaugural “iLOVE Nashville Teddy Bear Drive” which will provide a supply of teddy bears to local law enforcement, first responders and non-profit groups to help comfort children who have been involved in traumatic situations. Brand Manager Joe Breezy tells RAMP, “First Responders never know what a child has experienced when they first arrive on scene from a 911 call. Something as simple as a teddy bear can go a long way and the response from our listeners and community has been tremendous. We are extremely grateful that we have an opportunity to help.”

i106.7 is encouraging its listeners to donate teddy bears at one of many participating drop-off locations or visit i1067.com and purchase a custom “iLOVE Nashville” teddy bear. For every iLOVE Nashville teddy bear purchased, Bears For Humanity will donate another one just like it to our community. The results of the drive are shown here filling up the i106.7 studio — Pictured, (top, l-r): Juliana Wright (Promotions & Vibe Manager), i106.7 APD/MD Butter and Joe Breezy.
