McCarthy Named CEO Of SealX, LLC
• Paul B. Anderson, Principal & CEO of talent and content management company Workhouse Media, announced today that Scott McCarthy, currently President of Workhouse Sports, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of rapidly-growing SealX, LLC by its Board of Directors, of which Anderson is Executive Chairman, effective Dec. 15.
SealX, LLC is described as “a high-tech, high-touch commercial cleaning enterprise serving government, healthcare, retail, corporate, fulfillment, senior living, and education environments in the Pacific Northwest.”
McCarthy, who joined Workhouse Media in March 2024, will relocate to Washington State from Los Angeles, but will continue to serve Workhouse Media as special advisor for sports.
McCarthy has an extensive and varied background, including seven years in investment banking and venture capital and more than 25 years as an executive in audio, television, print, gaming, and digital. He was a senior executive at ESPN from 2011 to 2023, most recently serving as Vice President, ESPN Audio. McCarthy earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Colorado College, and also studied at The London School of Economics and University of Chicago.

The board of directors recently determined that it was time to hire a CEO to help us achieve our vision, and we are confident that Scott will do an outstanding job of executing our strategic plan and leading our next phase of growth and beyond.”
