McCarthy Named Pres., Workhouse Sports
• Talent and content management company Workhouse Media announced that Los Angeles-based Scott McCarthy has joined the company as President, Workhouse Sports.
McCarthy will join CEO Paul Anderson, EVP John McConnell, and EVP Keith Kauffman to expand Workhouse’s first-in-class talent and content business, with a particular emphasis in the sports category.
McCarthy comes to Workhouse Media with an extensive and varied background, including seven years in investment banking and venture capital and more than 25 years as a media executive in audio, television, print, gaming, and digital, the past 12 years as a senior executive at ESPN, most recently serving as VP of ESPN Audio.
McCarthy earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Colorado College, and also studied at The London School of Economics and University of Chicago.
