Mistress Carrie Lazer-Focused On Springfield
• Saga Active Rock WLZX (Lazer 99.3 & 98.5)/Springfield, MA is excited to announce that longtime New England radio icon Mistress Carrie will be joining the team as new morning show host starting — appropriately — on Valentine’s Day.
The pride of Leominster, MA, and best known and loved for her 22-year reign on the late, legendary WAAF/Boston, Carrie is currently the host of The Mistress Carrie Podcast, Cocktails In The War Room, and The Mistress Carrie Radio Show, and now adds mornings at Lazer 99.3 & 98.5 to her already busy schedule.
“Carrie will be an incredible addition to Lazer and Springfield morning radio,” said Lazer PD Alex Byrne. “She is one of the most influential voices in rock music in New England, and brings a tremendous level of knowledge, experience, and personality to Lazer. • Concurrent with Mistress Carrie’s debut, Pat Kelly, who had been handling Lazer morning duties on an interim basis, will now fully focus on his afternoon drive spot on Classic Rock sister sister WAQY (Rock 102).
