Mix Breaks Million-Dollar Barrier

• Thanks to the immense generosity of its listeners, Hubbard Hot AC WTMX (101.9fm The Mix)/Chicago has done it again — the station just raised another $1,042,678 for the children and families at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, bringing the station’s fundraising total for Lurie Children’s to $29 million over the past 19 years!

This year, Mix morning show host Eric Ferguson along with co-hosts Melissa McGurren and Whip hosted an unprecedented five-day campaign — “Mix Kids for Lurie Children’s” that aired the week of August 20. They capped off the week with a live broadcast, followed by the traditional giant check presentation in the Crown Sky Garden on the 11th floor of Lurie Children’s Chicago.
