On-Air Exchange Program At KHMX/Houston

• Audacy Hot AC KHMX (Mix 96.5)/Houston is tweaking its daytime lineup a tad, as Jagger and Jessie Watt swap shifts — Jagger moves from afternoons to middays, as Watt assumes command of the 1-6pm shift.

In making the announcement, JR Ammons, VP/Ops for Audacy Kansas City and Brand Manager of St. Louis and Houston, noted, “Jessie’s personality and energy is flat-out contagious, and having her live in afternoons strengthens a critical daypart for Mix. Jagger is one of the best air personalities in the country, and this move puts him in a position where we can still take advantage of his talent as he continues to build relationships with our listeners.”

Ammons added, “This is the right move as we continue to evolve Mix. I’m confident this lineup positions us well moving forward.”

Jagger continues to co-host Jenny & Jagger In The Morning with Jenny Matthews and Matt Gapske on Country sister WDAF (106.5 The Wolf)/Kansas City. Jessie Watt has been with Mix 96.5 since 2019, originally doing mornings with Sarah Pepper until May 2024, when she moved to middays after Pepper’s departure.
