Power 106 Tops 1 Mil YouTube Subs

• Meruelo Media Vice President of Digital, Jeffrey Thacker has good reason to celebrate — KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles just surpassed 1 million subscribers on its YouTube channel.

Thacker commented, “Power 106 is the most followed radio station west of the Mississippi. I moved to Los Angeles (previously at Hot 97/New York) with the goal of growing Power 106’s subscribers, increasing quality content production and delivering our content on the platforms that listeners use. We have enjoyed extraordinary growth in the past few months and look forward to more original content production. Meruelo Media acquired Cali 93.9 and KLOS and we’re expanding our Meruelo Media digital team. We’re adding new original content, podcasts, blogging and influencer coverage.”
