PromoSuite Ups Smith & Englebrecht

PromoSuite announced two executive upgrades: 1) Andrew Smith (left) is upped to the newly created position of Director, Product Integrity where he will serve as the liaison between sales, client services and the product development teams, and 2) Michael Englebrecht (right) has been elevated to Director, Client Services & Business Process Automation where he will lead the Client Service team while focusing his efforts on streamlining onboarding, training, and support.

“Andrew and Mike are unique talents who both have displayed extreme passion for delivering quality service to our radio customers,” said Rocco Macri, CEO of PromoSuite. “Andrew has excelled in a variety of roles for us, working daily with clients, our product team, sales and the client service team. He’s got a great grasp of our client’s needs and will be a tremendous asset to our product development team. Meanwhile, Mike’s reputation in the industry preceded him. We brought him in as a consultant, and we were immediately impressed by his enthusiasm and leadership. We look forward to watching both flourish in their new positions.”

Smith got his first radio taste in 1996 at Elmira College’s WECW-FM. After an internship with WAXQ (Q104.3)/New York, Smith joined Citadel Syracuse, NY as the local producer of The Howard Stern Show on WAQX (95X) and on-air on WLTI-FM and WIII-FM. After five years, Smith moved to Binghamton, NY as Promotions Director/nights on WHWK-FM and afternoon drive on WAAL-FM. He joined PromoSuite in 2013 as Operations Coordinator.

“Rocco & Chris have given me the opportunity to grow and advance professionally over the last 8+ years,” said Smith. “I’m excited for this new opportunity to work alongside our incredible product development team. This is an extraordinary time at PromoSuite as we continue to release amazing products, and I’m thrilled to be a part of making those products the best they can be.”

Englebrecht’s radio career started in 1997 as an intern at then Emmis-owned WKQX/Chicago. Over the next seven years, he held leadership roles within marketing, sales, and programming, before transitioning to Emmis Interactive in 2004, and later, NextRadio (TagStation) as Director of Product Engagement. “I enjoy helping people leverage technology to solve problems and transform their business operations in the process,” Englebrecht said. “What we are building here at PromoSuite will help our customers do exactly that. There’s nothing like it currently available to Radio, which is one of the many reasons I’m excited to join the team.”
