Shoboy ‘En Fuego’ At Entravision
• Entravision Communications has acquired major market veteran Edgar “Shoboy” Sotelo as host of The Shoboy Show, which debuted on Tuesday and is now airing weekdays from 6-10am PT on the following Entravision “Fuego”-branded bilingual Rhythmic Top 40 stations: KHHM (Fuego 103.5)/Sacramento and KCVR (Fuego 98.9)/Stockton-Modesto, CA, and from 8am-noon CT on KKPS (Fuego 99.5)/McAllen-Brownsville, TX. As part of this launch, Entravision has also entered into an exclusive network sales agreement to represent The Shoboy Show nationally.
Sotelo (center) most recently anchored the morning show on Entercom Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP)/Los Angeles from Jan. 2018 until late October 2019. He previously did mornings on former CBS Radio Top 40 WBMP (92.3 AMP Radio)/New York until it flipped to ALT 92.3. Before moving to New York in January 2015 Sotelo enjoyed a successful five-year run as host of Shoboy en la Mañana on CBS Radio Regional Mexican KMVK (La Grande 107.5)/Dallas.
