Texas Radio HOF Adds 20 Saturday
• The Texas Radio Hall of Fame (TRHOF) has partnered with PickleJar, the interactive, social payment app, to bring the excitement and pageantry of Saturday’s HOF induction ceremony to fans around the world.
The event begins at noon CT/1pm ET/10am PT Saturday, Nov. 6 from the Texas Museum of Broadcasting and Communications in Kilgore, TX and will feature the induction of 20 new broadcast pros, including Lone Star radio legends Moby, Lisle and Hahn, Kellie Rasberry, Joe “The Godfather” Anthony, Roula Christie, Hannah Storm, Dana Tyson, and other superstars in a two-hour presentation combining video and live acceptance speeches.
While the ticketed, on-site event is expected to be at capacity, fans can experience the program remotely, exclusively and in real time through Pickle Jar’s livestreaming platform. A $5 viewing pass is available through the ticketing portal at TRHOF.net.
TRHOF Executive Director Doug Harris says the alliance with PickleJar will bring the Hall of Fame’s mission and message to more people in more places than ever before, as he noted, “When we first learned of Pickle Jar’s revolutionary way of connecting fans and bands we were intrigued by its application to our needs.
