The Doctor Will Hear You Now
We recently told you Audible was reviving the spirit of Comedy Central’s cult classic animated series, Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist — this time as an audio series — Dr. Katz: The Audio Files. Jonathan Katz once again stars as a Hollywood shrink who treats a cast of famous clients in weekly 15-minute therapy sessions.
Two days ahead of the new series’ June 8 launch, Audible held a very cool Launch Event for Dr. Katz: The Audio Files inside the intimate confines of The CineFamily in Los Angeles. Fortunately, we have a friend in the Audible family — our longtime pal Rob Barnett is now Sr. Director, Channels Marketing at Audible, and he hooked us up with some VIP tickets to watch a live Dr. Katz taping that featured a parade of hilarious celebrity “patients” — Back row, (l-r): Al Madrigal, Paul F. Season 1 includes 15 episodes starring Sarah Silverman, Ted Danson, Ray Romano, Margaret Cho, Weird Al, Maria Bamford, Pete Holmes, Dana Gould, Emo Philips, Ron Funches, Andy Kindler and more!
