Tino Cochino Upped To Mornings On KGGI
• iHeartMedia Rhythmic 99.1 KGGI/Riverside announced a revised weekday on-air schedule, highlighted by the elevation of the YEA Networks-syndicated Tino Cochino Radio from nights to mornings. The Tino Cochino Radio Morning Show officially launches Monday, April 11 and will run weekdays from 6-10am PT.
In making the announcement, Kid Jay, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Riverside, said, “Tino Cochino and his crew will bring energy, passion and new excitement to the Inland Empire! Not to mention that Tino is a social media beast, checking all the boxes that listeners are looking for in a morning show.”
“The graduation from nights to mornings on KGGI is one of those moments I’ll forever remember and appreciate,” said Tino, who is joined daily by co-hosts Serina Perez, DJ Nicasio, and Executive Producer Matt. “The call letters are heritage and the team is full of all-stars. There are, without a doubt, big shoes to fill, but my team and I have never been afraid of hard work and can’t wait to connect even deeper with The IE.”
The new KGGI line-up looks like this: longtime KGGI veteran Evelyn Erives moves from mornings to 10am-1pm, followed by Letty B from 1-4pm and Kid Jay from 4-7pm.
