Tony Randall Wakes Up In Kat Country
• Cumulus Country KATM (Kat Country 103)/Stockton-Modesto, CA welcomes format veteran Tony Randall as its new afternoon drive personality, starting Monday, Dec. 1.
Randall is best known as the co-host of the nationally syndicated Tony & Kris Show with Kris Rochester that originated from KSON/San Diego, and most recently did mornings on Cumulus Country WIVK/Knoxville, TN. In his 31 years in broadcasting, Randall has won multiple CMA and ACM Awards for Best Morning Show.
Andy Winford, Program Director of Kat Country, said, “It’s a real win for Kat Country to have someone with Tony’s experience and skill on board, and I can’t wait to work with him!”
Randall commented, “My Country radio career has been full of highs and lows. Getting the opportunity to join the incredible team at Kat Country definitely falls into the ‘highs’ category. I’m beyond excited to rejoin the Cumulus family and return to California! And I’m so grateful to Andy Winford I’m going to buy him that pony he’s been wanting.”
Randall will make his KAT Country 103 debut live on location Dec. 1 at the Walmart in Turlock, CA, where he and the KAT Country 103 team will be onsite collecting donations for Toys For Tots.
