• Looks like we guessed correctly on the expansion of Audacy’s The Bret Mega Show to mornings on Hot AC WTDY (The New 96.5)/Philadelphia — the show debuts there on June 23.

It was last week when The Bret Mega Show, co-hosted by Bret Mega, Hannah Gibbs, Kevin Berghoff and Anna Bohlmann, based at Audacy Hot AC KYKY (Y98)/St. Louis, announced via social media that it would soon be expanding to other markets, and Philly certainly qualifies — that particular table was set yesterday when 12-year WTDY veteran Michael Bennett relocated from mornings to afternoons, conveniently leaving a morning show vacancy.

The Bret Mega Show currently airs in afternoon drive on AC sister KFBZ (105.3 The Buzz)/Wichita, KS, and yesterday was elevated from afternoons to mornings on sister KZPT (99.7 The Point)/Kansas City. We are advised to stay tuned for further Mega announcements.
