Heussler Named PD Of Jacksonville’s ‘Big Ape’
• Cox Media Group Jacksonville has named Jud Heussler as the new Director of Branding and Programming for heritage Top 40 95.1 WAPE, the legendary “Big Ape,” starting Monday, March 29.
Heussler arrives in sunny Florida from Raleigh, NC, where he spent the past four years programming Curtis Media Group Top 40 WPLW/WWPL (Pulse-FM 96.9/102.5). Before that he was APD/MD and afternoon personality at Entercom Top 40 WKSE (98.5 Kiss FM)/Buffalo, NY.
“Jud brings a wealth of experience and talent to Jacksonville and to the Ape,” said Steve Smith, CMG VP of Programming. “We are extremely excited he will be growing our brand and the future of our programming.”
