Mmmmm…. Jug Cake….

Momentum Broadcasting’s KJUG/Visalia, CA yesterday celebrated 40 years of playing Country music in Central California with this giant jug-shaped (get it?) birthday cake and well-wishes from recording artists and listeners — Big and Rich, Parmalee, Chris Janson, Chase Bryant, Cole Swindell, Brett Eldredge, Dustin Lynch, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett and RaeLynn were among the Country stars that wished KJUG a Happy 40th birthday on the air. KJUG was also joined by former owner Larry Woods, who signed the station on in the fall of 1977, and current owner Don Groppetti, who purchased KJUG in 2011 to continue its legacy of community service. Former longtime KJUG PD/morning host Dave Daniels also called in to share his favorite memories.
