The LAST Great Detroit Radio Reunion!
• Save the date — Saturday, September 14, 2019 is when the LAST Great Detroit Radio Reunion convenes at the Suburban Collection Showplace in scenic Novi, MI. The event will feature a special “Meet & Greet” reunion of many of Detroit’s most iconic radio personalities, plus many more from around the country.
The special guest of honor is 94-years-young market legend Robin Seymour, beloved for his stints at WKMH, WKNR (Keener 13), CKLW and Channel 9’s popular TV show Swingin’ Time. His well-known theme song, “Bobbin’ with The Robin,” was recorded for him in 1956 by The Four Lads.
Seymour’s book, The DJ Who Launched 1,000 Hits was recently published and will be available at this open to the public fan-based event! The Executive Directors of the reunion are famed Detroit personality Lee Alan, along with “Radio’s Best Friend” Art Vuolo, who are both excited by the incredible response and number of radio legends who have committed to be on hand!
