Cumulus ATL Working Remotely

• Late Thursday night RAMP learned that an unnamed employee at Cumulus Media’s Atlanta HQ on Johnson Ferry Road has requested to go into a self-imposed quarantine, based on potential, unconfirmed exposure to COVID-19. It’s important to note that the employee has not tested positive for the virus and has shown no symptoms.

However, out of an abundance of caution, all employees of WNNX (Rock 100.5), WKHX (New Country 101.5), WWWQ (Q99.7), 99X (WWWQ-HD2) and OG 97.9 (WWWQ-HD3) have been asked to work remotely TFN.

Atlanta Operations Manager Louie Diaz said some of the stations in the group will be running “Best Of” shows on Friday morning. The Bert Show will be live from a different location using remote equipment. Other dayparts will voicetrack from their homes. Diaz said, “Thank you to Brian Philips, Dave Milner, Sean Shannon and Greg Frey for their leadership thru this very challenging time.”
