Adams Upped To OM Of NRG Omaha
• NRG Media Omaha has promoted David Adams to Operations Manager. In his newly enhanced role, Adams will have operational oversight of the seven-station cluster while continuing his day-to-day programming responsibilities for Hot AC KQKQ (Sweet 98.5), Rhythmic KOPW (Power 106.9), Adult Hits KOOO (101.9 The Keg), and Sports-Talk duo KOZN-AM (1620 The Zone) & KZOT-AM (1180 The Zone 2).
NRG Omaha GM Mark Shecterle commented, “Since joining NRG Media in November of 2020, David has proven to be a strong leader who has been able to come in and gain the respect and trust of everyone in the building very quickly. He’s does a great job with our FMs, and I know he will do the same with all our AMs.” Adams remarked, “I’m very humbled and grateful for this opportunity. Before joining NRG last year, Adams served as SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Tucson. Before that he programmed iHeartMedia’s KLOU/St. Louis and WRNW & WRIT/Milwaukee, and earlier in his career spent five years as PD/morning host at Townsquare Media’s WBNQ/Bloomington, IL.
