Alyssa Upped To MD @ The End
• We are pleased to pass along the news that Alyssa Boccuzzi, midday goddess at Entercom Alternative KNDD (107.7 The End)/Seattle has been deservedly rewarded with Music Director stripes, bolstering a talented programming braintrust that includes PD Leslie Scott and format pro Walter Flakus, who just arrived from WKQX/Chicago as APD/afternoon personality.
In a staff memo, Scott said, “In her three years here, Alyssa has proven to be a huge music lover, a supporter of all things 107.7 The End and a champion of the power of radio. I can think of no better team in Alternative than ours at The End, and Alyssa’s new position reinforces that.”
An elated Boccuzzi commented, “It’s an honor to be part of this incredible team! I’m looking forward to jumping into this new role under the guidance of Leslie and Walt! Huge thank you to Leslie Scott and Dave Richards for this opportunity; they are truly two of the best in the biz! And I hear they have Dave Grohl coming in to cut the cake?! Shouldn’t have!”
Before she was recruited to do middays at The End in June 2016, Boccuzzi spent two years in Atlanta doing weekends and swing at Cumulus Classic Rock WNNX (Rock 100.5). Boccuzzi started her career at Connoisseur Media in Connecticut, doing nights on WEZN (Star 99.9)/Bridgeport and weekends on WPLR/New Haven.
