Anderssen Transfers From O-Town To ATL

• Cox Media Group (CMG) Atlanta has named Drew Anderssen as Senior Operations and Program Manager for News-Talk WSB (News 95.5 and AM 750), effective Feb. 3. In this new position, Anderssen will manage the legacy brand of WSB while also retaining his existing corporate role as CMG’s News-Talk-Sports Format Coordinator. Anderson earns the big transfer from CMG Orlando, where he is currently Director of Branding & Programming for News-Talk WDBO-FM & Sports-Talk WDBO-AM (ESPN 580) and OM of those stations, plus Classic Hits WMMO.

Anderssen started his career with CMG in 1998 as Operations Manager of News-Talk KRMG/Tulsa, OK. In July 2012 he transferred to the PD post at sister WDBO/Orlando, and added OM stripes in 2016. Prior to joining CMG, Anderssen spent several years in promotions, research and programming in Texas and Oklahoma.
