APD/Middays Open At KC’s Vibe

• Cumulus Top 40 KCHZ (95-7 The Vibe)/Kansas City looking for a creative, versatile, and innovative Assistant Program Director/midday personality. This newly created, dedicated APD position will free up Joel Weiss to fully focus his mad APD skillz on “Rock-ternative” sister KCJK (105.1 The X).

Your duties will include a daily midday shift, music scheduling, social media, station events, copywriting, and online streaming maintenance along with production/imaging, and light video editing for social media. You will also assist with pre-show, advance setup of the syndicated morning program, The Bert Show.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of PPM experience and at least two years of experience with both live and voice-tracked airshifts. A working knowledge of digital editing software (Adobe Audition, VoxPro, etc.) and music scheduling software (Selector, Music Master, Stratus, etc.) is required, along with a strong wit, social media, writing and conversation skills.
