Are You The New KFOX PD?

• Bonneville San Francisco seeking an on-air Program Director for its South Bay Classic Rock outlet KUFX (98.5 KFOX)/San Jose, as it was announced that, after nearly 30 years of rockin’ the Bay Area, Tim Jeffreys is hanging up his headphones and returning to his hometown of Boulder, CO to be closer to family. His last day is March 9. In a staff memo, KOIT PD Brian Figula said of Jeffreys, “There’s a feeling of sadness to see him go, and yet happiness to see him be with family.”

Jeffreys (left) is a 38-year industry pro who joined KFOX to do weekends in 2015 and was subsequently upped to APD/MD/pm drive and then promoted to PD in December 2016. His earlier Bay Area stops include Cumulus Media’s KSAN and KFOG/San Francisco and the former KSJO/San Jose. Earlier in his career Jeffreys worked in the Denver-Boulder market at KBCO/Boulder and KBPI/Denver.

This PD position requires 2-3 years of experience in a PPM market with a proven winning track record of ratings success. The next KUFX PD will be an experienced, accomplished and creative leader capable of building on the ratings and revenue success already achieved at KUFX.
