Ashley Z Returns To WKHQ/TVC
• It’s a satisfying career full-circle for Michigan native “Ashley Z” Elzinga, who has been named PD and morning personality at MacDonald Garber Top 40 WKHQ (106 KHQ)/Traverse City, MI — the station where she originally started her career doing nights a decade ago.
In making the announcement, Peter Garber, VP of Programming for MacDonald Garber, said, “We feel very blessed that Ashley has agreed to take on this new opportunity with KHQ. She is a sought-after talent in radio right now, and she chose to join KHQ because she loves the station and loves Northern Michigan. She’s a phenomenal broadcaster, an even better person, and we are confident you are going to love her as your new KHQ morning show host.”
Elzinga’s career also includes middays at WNRG (Energy 106.9)/Milwaukee, and nights at KDND (106.5 The End)/Sacramento, WWWQ (Q99.7)/Atlanta and WAKS (96.5 Kiss FM)/Cleveland, to name a few stops.
