Audacy & ABC Audio Expand Relationship
• On the heels of the unfortunate demise of CBS News Radio, Audacy announced it is expanding its relationship with ABC News Audio across many of its All-News and News-Talk stations.
“The addition of ABC News Audio ensures listeners across the country continue to receive trusted national and international news coverage, while our stations continue to deliver best-in-class local journalism in every market we serve,” Audacy’s statement reads. “Existing ABC News Audio affiliates will continue their longstanding relationships with ABC News Audio as part of this expanded collaboration.
In closing, the statement notes, “Our focus remains on serving audiences with the live, local and trusted news coverage they rely on every day, and we’re excited to continue building on our partnership with ABC to deliver premium audio journalism nationwide.”
Existing Audacy ABC News Audio affiliates, including 1010 WINS/New York and KYW Newsradio/Philadelphia, will continue their longstanding relationships as part of the expanded collaboration.
