Audacy Denver: Sullivan, Starr Out, Fullam Returns
• RAMP has learned of several major management departures at Audacy Denver — SVP/Market Manager Chuck Sullivan has exited, along with Victor Starr, the longtime PD of Rhythmic KQKS (KS107.5). In the case of the corner office situation, we have confirmed that John Fullam (left), who held the position until his retirement in early 2020, is temporarily coming off the beach to reclaim his former position. The Denver cluster also includes Classic Rock KQMT (99.5 The Mountain), Hot AC KALC (Alice 105.9), Rhythmic KQKS (KS107.5), Comedy 103.1 (KQKS-HD2) and Sports-Talk KAMP (1430 The Bet).
Sullivan was named then-Entercom Denver SVP/Market Manager, succeeding the retiring Fullam, in Feb. 2020, earning the transfer from a similar role overseeing Entercom Milwaukee and Madison, WI. Prior to joining Entercom in 2014, Sullivan was VP/Market Manager for the Cumulus clusters in Mobile, AL and Destin, FL. From 1996-2006 Sullivan served as a Managing Partner for Ocean Broadcasting in Wilmington, NC.
No replacement has been named yet for Starr (left), who was named PD of KS107.5 in March 2016, following John E. Kage‘s departure to program Cox Media Group Top 40 WPOI (Hot 101.5)/Tampa. Starr had actually been in the building since 2012, working in the KS107.5 sales department when he was promoted to the PD chair.
Starr’s previous programming stops include WJHM (102 Jamz)/Orlando, WERQ (92Q)/Baltimore and WZMX/Hartford. He also served as Donnie Simpson‘s Executive Morning Show Director at WPGC/Washington back in the day. Starr can now be reached at 410-808-1800 or victorstarr@msn.com.
