B Paiz On The Loose

• After several weeks of uncertainty, RAMP has confirmed the newfound availability of veteran programmer and air talent Brian “B” Paiz, who had programmed iHeartMedia Classic Hip Hop 95.3 The Beat (WDCG-HD2/W237BZ)/Raleigh until the company’s recent round of restructuring.

Paiz’s extensive radio resume includes a stint as Brand Manager for the syndicated Chubb Rock Show; SVP of Programming for iHeart’s 11-station group in Albany & Columbus, GA and PD of Urban WHTY (Hot 100)and Urban AC WAGH (Magic 101.3)/Columbus and Urban WJIZ and Urban AC WMRZ (Kiss 98.1)/Albany, GA; and Brand Manager of IBX Media Urban AC WRHD-HD2 (Fresh 97.9)/Greenville, NC.

Paiz earlier programmed iHeartMedia Urban WXBT (100.1 The Beat)/Columbia, SC and was Director of Urban Programming for WIBB and WRBV (V101.7)/Macon, GA. Paiz began his radio career at WPEG/Charlotte.
