Bailey Named MD/Middays @ KVIL/Dallas
• Entercom Alternative KVIL (ALT 103.7)/Dallas announced the imminent arrival of Bailey as Music Director and midday personality, effective December 2.
Bailey makes the move from iHeartMedia Alternative KTCL (Channel 93.3)/Denver, where she served as Music Director since 2006. She began her career at the late WFNX/Boston and has worked in a variety of formats at radio stations in Springfield, IL, Hartford, CT, Providence and St. Louis.
In making the announcement of Bailey’s hire, Brian Purdy, Regional President and Market Manager, Entercom Dallas, said, “Jim Fox [VP of Programming, Entercom Dallas] and I are excited to have Bailey bring her nearly 20 years-worth of music programming and on-air experience to ALT 103.7. With her extensive knowledge of the Alternative format and its audience, Bailey is perfectly suited to serve our listeners.” Bailey commented, “I’m taking the leap from Denver to Dallas and couldn’t be happier about the opportunity to join Entercom and the ALT 103.7 team. Bailey succeeds current KVIL MD Lindsey Martin, who, as we recently announced,is joining Atlantic Records as a Regional Promotion Manager, based in Charlotte.
