Best Show Ever? On Philly’s Fanatic?

• Beasley Sports-Talk WPEN (97.5 The Fanatic)/Philadelphia, which has been without a permanent afternoon show since the May 31 departure of Mike Missanelli, announced the launch of its new pm drive program — the ironically-branded The Best Show Ever? will debut Monday, August 1, hosted by a quartet of interesting local personalities: Fanatic veteran Tyrone Johnson, former MLB relief pitcher and NBC Sports Philadelphia analyst Ricky Bottalico, digital sports-media influencer Hunter Brody, and major market air talent Jennifer Scordo, the former Assoc. Producer of Missanelli’s show.

The Best Show Ever? will air weekdays from 2-6pm ET and will be televised in its entirety by NBC Sports Philadelphia, continuing the simulcast partnership between the network and 97.5.

“When you put longtime Fanatic personality Tyrone Johnson together with social media star Hunter Brody and former Phillies pitcher Ricky Bottalico, then mix in ‘Ring Master’ Jenn Scordo, you’re going to have some exciting afternoons on the Fanatic,” said Joe Bell, VP/Market Manager of Beasley Philadelphia. Fan PD Chuck Damico remarked, “Philadelphia fans are the best fans ever and they deserve The Best Show Ever? We look forward to this diverse group of passionate sports experts providing some of the most entertaining sports talk in Philadelphia.” Pictured, (l-r): Ricky Bottalico, Hunter Brody, Jenn Scordo and Tyrone Johnson.
