Brand Manager Wanted: WRRV/Hudson Valley

UPDATED: Townsquare Media Alternative WRRV/Poughkeepsie, NY is in search of a new Content/Brand Manager and afternoon drive personality, as RAMP has learned that Taylor Dickson has accepted a position as a social media specialist for ClearPlan Consulting in Westborough, MA.

Dickson’s last day on-air will be July 13, but she will continue to schedule music and work with labels until her replacement is found. “It’s been an incredible journey at Townsquare and I’ve worked with a lot of great people,” Dickson said. “It’s rare people get to leave this industry on their own terms, and I’m grateful I get to. Looking forward to my new opportunity!”

Dickson (pictured) started her radio career at WBSU (89.1 The Point), the student-run radio station at SUNY College at Brockport, NY and joined Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley after graduation. She quickly moved up from the event staff to mornings on WCZX (former Hot AC Mix 97.7), and later upped to APD/afternoon drive. In early 2020 Dickson crossed the hall to do mornings on WRRV, and in Nov. 2020 was named Brand Manager. Going forward, Dickson can be reached at taylordickson95@gmail.com.

The position requires someone who lives for creating high quality, engaging and local digital and social media content and can seamlessly transition that to their radio show and vice versa. You are ready to be a part of a team of highly successful and creative content creators and look for every opportunity to challenge your team to be better than they were yesterday knowing the end result is success not only for yourself but the radio station and the cluster.

Bonus Fun Fact: Poughkeepsie consistently leads the company in digital performance and has very well defined and strong brands representing it. Now that you’ve heard the pitch, are you ready to work in a cluster that’s located a stone’s-throw from the NYC area? Let’s talk!
