Bruns Upped To OM @ Cumulus Memphis

Cumulus Media has promoted Danni Bruns to the newly created position of Operations Manager for the company’s Memphis cluster — Country WGKX (Kix 106), Mainstream Rock WXMX (98.1 The Max), Urban AC WRBO and Classic Hip Hop WKIM (98.9 The Vibe). Bruns, a native Memphian and 21-year industry pro will continue to serve as PD of 98.1 The Max and co-host of the Danni and The Jar afternoon show with Chris Jarman.

Bruns began her radio career as a college intern, and then went on to co-host the morning show at WTXT/Tuscaloosa, AL. After returning to Memphis to work at WHBQ (Q107.5), Bruns joined 98.1 The Max in 2007. Morgan Bohannon, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Memphis said, “Danni is a solid leader and a bright, talented programmer with infectious energy.
