Callahan Comes Home To Pamal
• UPDATED: It’s official: Pamal Broadcasting announces the hire of Kevin Callahan as Corporate Director of Programming & Operations, overseeing the programming and operations of Pamal’s 20 radio stations in four markets; Albany, Hudson Valley & Glens Falls, NY, and Rutland, VT.
And yes, the move back to Pamal is a homecoming, both personally and professionally, for Callahan, who previously worked for Pamal from 2003-2010, rising to Regional VP of Programming
Pamal executive Chuck Benfer said, “It’s really great to have Kevin back on our team. Kevin brings a lot of programming and operational insights, knowledge and experience that will be very helpful to our company and our team. Pamal Broadcasting is committed to delivering high quality live and local programming to the communities we serve. Kevin will be instrumental in delivering on that commitment.”
Callahan recently resigned from Audacy after a 12-year run, most recently serving in the dual role of Western Region VP of Programming, and RVP of Country Programming, overseeing KSON/San Diego, KFRG/Riverside, WDAF/Kansas City; KWJJ/Portland, OR; KKWF/Seattle and KMLE/Phoenix. Over the summer the Callahan family relocated from San Diego back east to Cambridge, NY, less than 40 miles from Albany. For now, Callahan can be congratulated at KevinCallahan71@gmail.com.
