Career Crossroads For Dana Taylor
• The airwaves and hallways of Audacy Hot AC WOMX (Mix 105.1)/Orlando will soon sound very different, as Brand Manager/morning personality Dana Taylor announced her resignation after a remarkable 28-year run! Her final morning show is Friday, Jan. 13, after which she plans to pursue some new avenues in media.
RAMP reached out to Taylor, who joined Mix in 1994, and was upped from APD/interim PD to Brand Manager in Sept. 2018. She revealed she made “the difficult decision to resign four weeks ago, and we have been working on the transition behind the scenes over the past month or so.”
Taylor added, “I’m not sure what comes next. I’m wide open and would love to stay in radio — Hot AC/Pop. I’ve always had an interest in news, too. I’ve been thinking about it for a while and it’s time for a new adventure.” She added, “I love my brand and staff and wish them continued success, and I’m so grateful to our listeners in Orlando. After 28 years, how could I not be grateful?”
