Carlyle Returns To Eastern Time

• Kristina Carlyle is preparing to leave her APD/MD/afternoon drive spot at Scripps Country KVOO/Tulsa, as she has been hired as the new MD/morning co-host at Pamal Broadcasting Country WKLI (100.9 The Cat)/Albany, NY, starting April 30. She will succeed former wake-up co-host Dana Race, who has left.

In a staff memo, WKLI PD Jon Reilly said, in part, “Kristina is originally from Western Massachusetts and is looking forward to returning to the Northeast. Kristina will be a great addition to Team Cat and we are excited to have her start her new responsibilities on Monday, April 30.”

Carlyle joined KVOO in August 2016, following a stint as PD of iHeartMedia’s crosstown Country KTGX (106.1 The Twister). She previously served as APD/MD/midday talent at Cox Media rival KWEN (K95), preceded by eight years with Cumulus Country KRST/Albuquerque, NM and a stint on the label side as Director of Midwest and Southwest Promotion for Sidewalk Records.

KVOO PD Brian Jennings has graciously volunteered to cover the afternoon shift until the position is filled. The job will be posted this week…. stand by!
