Carrillo Named PD Of Mix 94.1/Canton

• Gabe Carrillo is the new Program Director and afternoon drive personality at Alpha Media Hot AC WHBC (Mix 94.1)/Canton, OH, effective November 1.

Carrillo was most recently Brand Manager of Saga Communications’ Top 40 WNRG (Energy 106.9)/Milwaukee. He spent the last six years programming multiple markets for Saga while splitting his time between Ithaca, NY and Milwaukee. Originally from California, Carrillo got his radio start with Entercom in 2009.

In making the announcement of Carrillo’s hire, Larry Gawthrop, Market Manager of Alpha Media, Canton, said, “We are very happy to welcome Gabe to Alpha Media and WHBC. He’s a great addition to our stations and afternoon drive time.”

Carrillo remarked, “I’m very excited to be joining a true Hall of Fame station like Mix 94.1.
