Carson Returns To Raleigh

•  iHeartMedia Country WPGB (Big 104.7)/Pittsburgh MD/midday personality Carson Blackley is transferring to Country cousin WNCB (B93.9)/Raleigh for the exact same duties. The move marks a Raleigh radio homecoming for Ms. Blackley — she used to do afternoon drive across the hall on Top 40 WDCG (G105). Blackley was called up to Big 104.7 to do middays in September 2014, and was upped to MD there a year later. The good news is, despite her move back to Raleigh, a part of Ms. Blackley will remain behind in the Steel City, as she will continue to track her Big 104.7 midday show.

Upon Blackley’s arrival, WNCB PD Carletta Blake will move from middays to afternoons, a shift currently tracked by Andie Cooper from sister WTQR (Q104.1) in nearby Greensboro. Cooper will remain a presence on weekends.
