Carton Comes Home… Again… To WFAN

• Rumors become reality at Audacy’s WFAN/New York with the official announcement that prodigal son Craig Carton is indeed returning to the station full-time as host of The Carton Show in afternoon drive alongside Chris McMonigle, part of a revamped weekday programming lineup that goes into effect on Jan. 5. WFAN is also launching a new midday show, Evan & Tiki, featuring Evan Roberts, Tiki Barber and Shaun Morash, and a new evening show, After Hours, hosted by Evan and Tiki‘s Executive Producer Tommy Lugauer.

This will mark Carton’s third drivetime stint with WFAN, having previously co-hosted the Boomer and Cartonmorning show with Boomer Esiason from 2007–2017, and Carton & Roberts from 2020–2023. “WFAN has always been home to me,” said Carton, a 2024 inductee into the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame, and whose weekend WFAN show, Hello, My Name Is Craig, has aired since 2021 and is regarded as one of the top addiction-oriented podcasts available. “Having the opportunity to return and rejoin the best sports talk station in the world is an opportunity I am eagerly looking forward to and beyond excited for,” Carton said.

“Craig Carton’s return reaffirms WFAN’s position as New York’s premier sports destination for big personalities, compelling conversation and highly engaging content that is difficult to ignore,” said Chris Oliviero, Audacy Chief Business Officer & New York Market President. “Our 2026 lineup has familiar marquee voices all day and all night, guaranteeing that whenever you tune into The Fan, you will be smack dab in the middle of the New York sports culture.”

• The revised WFAN weekday schedule looks like this — 5-6am: The Warm-Up Show with Al Dukes & Jerry Recco • 6-10am: Boomer & Gio • 10am-2pm: Evan & Tiki with Shaun Morash • 2-7pm: The Carton Show, with Craig Carton & Chris McMonigle • 7pm-midnight: After Hours with Tommy Lugauer.
