Casey Daniels Joins WIBC/Indianapolis
• Last week we told you that Casey Daniels had resigned as PD of Townsquare Classic Hits 98.7 WFGR/Grand Rapids, MI for a new gig that puts her closer to family — now we can reveal that Daniels is headed back to Indianapolis as the new late morning co-host at Emmis News-Talk 93.1 WIBC. Daniels will join Rob Kendall on the newly minted Kendall & Casey Show, weekdays from 9am-noon, starting April 4.
In making the announcement, David Wood, VP of Programming for Emmis Indianapolis, commented, “Casey is a storyteller with great curiosity and creativity. Pairing her with Rob Kendall and his deep knowledge of how local and state government works (or doesn’t work) will create a very entertaining and informative show.”
Prior to her Grand Rapids stint, Daniels spent six years as a Producer/Host at Sinclair’s WSBT-TV/South Bend, IN. Prior to her jump to TV, Daniels spent 11 years with Artistic Media Partners in South Bend, rising to VP of Programming and PD of WNDV (U93). Other on-air stops include WZPL/Indianapolis, WZOW & WWLV/South Bend, WHZZ/Lansing, MI and WCSX/Detroit. Daniels is a graduate of Ferris State University and the Specs Howard School of Broadcasting.
“I’m so thrilled to be back home again in Indiana at legendary 93 WIBC,” Daniels exclaimed. “I want to thank Taja Graham, David Wood, Matt Hibbeln and Rob Kendall. I’m grateful for this amazing opportunity and what’s next. I’ll see you on the circle!”
