Cattles Upped To PD @ WVSP/Norfolk

• Nick Cattles has been promoted to the PD chair at Max Media’s WVSP (ESPN Radio 94.1)/Norfolk. Along with his new duties Cattles will continue to host the cleverly named Nick Cattles Show weekdays from 3-6pm. Cattles can also be heard nationally on ESPN Radio after joining the network on a part-time basis in January 2019.

“We are very excited to give the PD nod to Nick,” said Keith Barton, VP/GM of Max Media of Hampton Roads. “No one is as passionate about this station and its listeners as Nick Cattles and his team.”

Cattles originally worked at WVSP from July 2012 until January 2017. After a stint at Beasley Sports-Talk WBZ-FM (98-5 The Sports Hub)/Boston, Cattles returned to WVSP in June 2018. Commenting on his sweet promotion, Cattles said, “I’m so grateful for being named the new Program Director of ESPN Radio 94.1. I’ve loved my time working as a host at the station and now enthusiastically jump into this next challenge. I’d like to thank Keith Barton, [VP of Programming] Rusty James and the ownership at Max Media for this opportunity.”
