CBI Nat’l Student Production Awards Finalists
• College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) is pleased to announce the national finalists in the 2026 CBI National Student Production Awards. The complete list of finalists is posted HERE.
Awards will be presented as part of the annual National Student Media Convention, to be held Oct. 14-17 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, bringing together students, advisers, and industry professionals for sessions on media trends, hands-on training, networking, and the celebration of student achievement.
The National Student Production Awards honor the outstanding work of students at campus radio, television, and digital media outlets across 41 categories — including promos, news reporting, Best DJ, comedy, entertainment, sports, podcasts, documentaries, outlet of the year, and more for video and audio — as well as general categories in station imaging, website design, and social media presence.
Up to four finalists were chosen in each of the categories, out of more than 940 submissions nationwide. Winners and finalists will be honored at the awards presentation.
“We’re excited to return to Philadelphia for the first time since 2016 to celebrate the outstanding work happening on campuses nationwide,” said Anabella Poland, President of CBI. “The National Student Production Awards are always the highlight of our convention, and after a decade away, the City of Brotherly Love is the perfect backdrop for honoring this next generation of storytellers.”
