Chad Heritage: Free Agent
• RAMP has learned that Chad Heritage has exited as PD of Cumulus Country/News-Talk combo WGKX (Kix 106) and WKIM (News Talk 98.9)/Memphis after nearly three years.
Heritage arrived in Memphis in Oct. 2020 as PD of Kix 106 and then-AC WKIM (98.9 The Bridge), following a stint with Townsquare Media Killeen-Temple, TX as Director of Content for the five-station cluster and Brand Manager for Country KUSJ (US105). WKIM flipped to News-Talk in 2021.
Heritage most notably spent more than two decades with iHeartMedia Little Rock, serving as SVP of Programming since 2006 and National Brand Coordinator since 2009. He had also programmed Country KSSN & Classic Country KMJX (105.1 The Wolf) for 23 years, winning multiple CMA Awards along the way.Heritage can now be contacted at chadheritage@gmail.com.
