Chicago’s Score Adds Frequency Modulation

• Audacy Sports-Talk WSCR-AM (670 The Score)/Chicago just earned an FM simulcast upgrade with the launch of 104.3 The Score on WBMX (calls remain for now), replacing Throwback 104.3 JAMS, beginning Feb. 2. Naturally, this means that The Score’s flagship radio coverage of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls will henceforth also air on glorious FM.

“Chicago fans are the best in the world, and they deserve coverage that matches their passion,” said Kevin Cassidy, SVP/Market Manager, Audacy Chicago. “Our roster features the best talent in the city with unmatched dedication to delivering the latest sports news and insight. We’re excited to expand The Score’s reach through this FM simulcast, bringing our premier sports content to an even wider audience so they can join the conversation and stay connected to their favorite Chicago teams.”

104.3 The Score launches Feb. 2 with Circa Sports Illinois as its presenting partner and will feature the following on-air lineup — 5:30-10am: Mully & Haugh • 10am-2pm: Rahimi, Harris & Grote • 2-6pm: Spiegel & Holmes.

• RAMP has learned that as a result of the flip, 104.3 JAMS morning personality Jennifer “Jen BT” Farina and Commercial Production Director Rebecca Ortiz have exited.
